Do you know someone who has made major contributions to landbird conservation? Nominate an individual or group for a Partners in Flight Award!
Please check back in November for the call for nominations for the 2018 PIF Awards.
Partners in Flight Awards recognize exceptional contributions to the field of landbird conservation. Nominees who have furthered the goal of protecting migratory and resident landbirds and their habitats will be evaluated in the categories of leadership, investigations, public awareness, stewardship, and lifetime achievement.
Please read the nomination guidelines
(below). Nominations may be submitted online using the SurveyMonkey link (below), or by emailing Carol Beidleman at [email protected] using the attached nomination form (below). These materials will be made available again when the call for 2018 PIF Awards nominations is made – please check back in November.
Complete one application for each category in which you nominate an individual or group. Please provide all information requested in the nomination form, with examples of the nominee’s accomplishments relative to the selected award category. If the nomination is for an individual who works as part of a group, provide examples of the specific accomplishments of that individual within the context of the larger group effort.
Nominations will be reviewed by the Partners in Flight Awards Committee. The Committee reserves the right to reassign a nomination to a different category from which it was originally submitted. To be eligible, projects or activities must have been initiated after 1990.
