Monitoring
- Priority
monitoring action – Conduct arctic surveys (PIF Monitoring Needs
doc)
- Second
priority monitoring action – Conduct new winter surveys (PIF
Monitoring Needs doc); (similar) Develop standardized roadside survey
in wintering area and evaluate population status (Canadian Action
Plan)
- High
priority candidate for rapid status assessment (PIF Monitoring Needs
doc); (similar) Determine population status for SMLO in central and
northern
Alaska
(
Alaska
)
- Document
trends in extent of native grassland within wintering area (Canadian
Action Plan)
